Long Video Processing Checklist: Summary, Subtitles, Upload Limits, and Queue Planning
Plan long-video tasks with the right workflow, supported public sources, local upload limits, batch size, asynchronous queue expectations, and post-processing checks.
Long videos need a different workflow from short clips. Before starting, choose whether the deliverable is structured understanding, timed subtitles, or a saved media file. Then check the source, duration, upload size, batch size, and queue expectations.

Current summary and subtitle limits
For both Video Summary and Subtitle Transcription:
- Paste up to 3 supported public URLs at once, one URL per line.
- Upload up to 3 local video or audio files at once.
- Each local file can be up to 500MB.
- Each local file can be up to 120 minutes.
- Tasks continue through an asynchronous processing queue.
Public source support includes YouTube, TikTok, BiliBili, public Xiaoyuzhou episodes, Apple Podcasts, and Ximalaya, plus local media uploads.
Preflight checklist
- Confirm the source link is public and accessible.
- Confirm you have the right to process the content.
- Choose summary or subtitle output before submitting.
- For local files, check file size and duration.
- For URL batches, keep one supported URL per line and stay within the 3-item limit.
- Choose the output language before creating the task.
- Expect long-form processing to run in the background queue.
How long does processing take?
Processing time depends on audio length, queue congestion, and the transcription provider. Two-hour content can take tens of minutes rather than seconds. The page shows task stages, and recent tasks can be refreshed later.
Do not submit the same task repeatedly because the first request does not finish immediately. Check the existing task status first.
Review after completion
For summaries:
- Scan the overview and mindmap.
- Read timestamped chapters.
- Replay source timestamps before relying on important claims.
- Export Markdown for your knowledge base.
For subtitles:
- Review the source transcript first.
- Compare translated and bilingual lines.
- Fix names, long lines, and timeline overlaps.
- Save before export.
Downloading long YouTube files
