Which formats can I convert between?
Video: MP4, WEBM, MOV, AVI, MKV, FLV, WMV. Image: PNG, JPG, WEBP, GIF, BMP, AVIF, HEIC. Audio: MP3, M4A, AAC, WAV, FLAC, OGG, OPUS. Conversion stays within a category for now — cross-category jobs like video to audio are not live yet.
Can I convert directly on the web?
No. Conversion is a desktop app feature. Everything runs on your own machine, so files are never uploaded to our servers.
How large can a file be?
There is no fixed cap. Because nothing is uploaded, the practical limits are your disk space and how long you let your CPU work.
Do I need an account?
You sign in to the desktop app so plan limits apply to your account. The conversion itself happens locally.
