About the #cooking hashtag
The #cooking hashtag is one of TikTok's most durable evergreen categories: recipes, kitchen hacks, and plating tricks that people watch on mute and want to keep. The problem with cooking content is that the steps fly by — measurements, temperatures, and timings are spoken once and gone. That is exactly where saving the video and pulling an editable transcript turns a 30-second clip into something you can actually cook from.

These will be the best hash browns you've ever made. The best part? You can freeze them once they've been shaped and just pop them into hot oil whenever you have a hash brown emergency, which you will have, everyday 600g peeled russet potatoes 6g salt(to taste) 65g cornstarch 2 tbsp cooking oil - dice the potatoes and leave them in a large bowl of water - drain the diced potatoes and sauté them with the oil and salt - transfer into another large bowl and mix through with the cornstarch - transfer out a handful of potato between two baking sheets and bash them with a rolling pin(some of the bashed potato will help hold it together), fry immediately or freeze in a container - fry at 170C until both sides are golden brown #hashbrowns #potatorecipes #crispypotatoes #friedfood #foodtiktok
