Which Public Video Platforms Does SnapVee Support?

Understand the difference between public-video downloading and AI summary or subtitle processing across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, BiliBili, podcasts, and other supported sources.

SnapVee has more than one media workflow. A platform that works for public-video downloading is not automatically the same as a platform supported by AI Video Summary or Subtitle Transcription.

Start by choosing the output you need:

Create transcripts, translations, and subtitle filesSubtitle Transcription

Public-video downloading

The downloader focuses on widely used public platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, and Threads. Only process content you own, are authorized to use, or a platform clearly allows you to save.

Source access still matters. Private, paid, login-gated, deleted, regional, or age-restricted pages may not work. A supported platform does not mean every URL on that platform is accessible.

Video Summary and Subtitle Transcription

The AI summary and subtitle workflows currently accept:

SourceInput type
YouTubePublic video URL
TikTokPublic video URL
BiliBiliPublic video URL
XiaoyuzhouPublic podcast episode URL
Apple PodcastsPublic podcast URL
XimalayaPublic audio URL
Local mediaUploaded video or audio file

For URL batches, paste up to 3 supported public links at once, one URL per line. For local uploads, choose up to 3 files; each local file can be up to 500MB and 120 minutes.

Why the platform lists differ

Downloading, transcription, and summarization solve different problems. A downloader resolves a public media source for saving. Summary and subtitle tasks need a stable audio, video, or metadata path that can enter the asynchronous AI pipeline.

Choose the workflow first, then confirm that the source matches that workflow.

Quick answer

Use the downloader for supported public social-media links. Use Video Summary or Subtitle Transcription for supported YouTube, TikTok, BiliBili, Xiaoyuzhou, Apple Podcasts, Ximalaya, and local-media inputs.
